At Ghosted, protecting your personal data is our priority.
Whether you use the Ghosted platform (the "Platform") as our client (the "Client"), or as part of the management of our contractual relations with our Clients, we may collect personal data about you.
The purpose of this policy is to inform you about how we process your personal data in compliance with applicable US privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and any other applicable state or federal privacy regulations (together the "Applicable Regulations").
Who is the Data Controller?
The data controller is Ghosted, a business based in the United States ("Us" or "We"), when you browse our Platform or use your account on our Platform as our Client.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?
Personal data is any data that identifies an individual directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name.
We may collect the following personal data:
Identification data (e.g. full name, email address);
Data relating to your professional life (e.g. company name, position/function, company size, company website, logo);
Data relating to your orders;
Login data (e.g. logs, IP address);
If you choose to sign in using a third-party authentication service (e.g., Google), certain data such as your name and email may be collected from that service. By choosing this method, you agree that the service may share this information with us. We do not collect your third-party account password;
Browsing data (IP address, pages viewed, date and time of connection, browser used, operating system, user ID);
Location data;
Economic and financial data (e.g. billing details);
Data related to your payment method;
Any information you wish to send us as part of a contact request.
We inform you, when collecting your personal data, whether some of these data are mandatory or optional.
On What Legal Basis, for What Purposes, and for How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data?
PURPOSE: To provide you with our services available on our Platform through your account
LEGAL BASIS: Performance of a contract to which you are party and/or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract
RETENTION: Personal data are retained for the duration of your account. Your connection logs are kept for 10 weeks. If your account is inactive for a period of 2 years, it will be deleted if you do not respond to our reactivation email. Personal data may be archived for evidentiary purposes for a period of 5 years.
PURPOSE: To perform operations related to contracts, orders, invoices, and customer relationship management
LEGAL BASIS: Performance of a contract to which you are party
RETENTION: Personal data are retained for the duration of our business relationship. Data relating to your transactions (with the exception of banking data) are archived for evidentiary purposes for a period of 5 years. Data relating to your contract are stored for 10 years from the conclusion of the contract or the performance of the service. Data related to your payment method are retained by our payment service provider. CVV2 codes will not be stored.

RETENTION: Personal data are retained for 6 months.
PURPOSE: To manage your opinions on our products, services, or content
LEGAL BASIS: Our legitimate interest in collecting your opinions on our products and services
RETENTION: 2 years from the publication of the opinion.
PURPOSE: To create a database of customers and prospects
LEGAL BASIS: Our legitimate interest in developing and promoting our business
RETENTION: For customers: retained for the duration of our business relationship. For prospects: retained for 3 years from the last contact.
PURPOSE: To send newsletters, requests, and direct marketing communications
LEGAL BASIS: Our legitimate interest in keeping customers informed of our latest news; for prospects, our legitimate interest in promoting our business
RETENTION: Personal data are retained for 3 years from the last contact.
PURPOSE: To respond to your information requests and other inquiries

RETENTION: Personal data are kept for 3 years from the date of your last contact.
PURPOSE: To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

RETENTION: Invoices are archived for 10 years. Transaction data are archived for evidentiary purposes for 5 years. Contract data are stored for 10 years from the conclusion of the contract or performance of the service.

RETENTION: Personal data are retained for 25 months.
PURPOSE: To process requests to exercise data rights

RETENTION: Any proof of identity is retained only for the time necessary to verify your identity and deleted once verification is complete.
Who Are the Recipients of Your Personal Data?
The following categories of recipients may have access to your personal data:
(i) The staff of our company;
(ii) Our service providers and processors, including: AI generation service providers, voice synthesis providers, hosting service provider (Supabase), payment service provider, invoicing tools, email service providers, analytics and audience measurement providers, cookie management tools, and other technology partners necessary to provide the Services;
(iii) If applicable: public and private organizations, exclusively to comply with our legal obligations.
Are Your Personal Data Transferred Outside Your Jurisdiction?
Your personal data is hosted on the servers of Supabase. Supabase may store data in the United States or other jurisdictions depending on your selected region.
As part of the tools we use, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your home jurisdiction. In such cases, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data, including relying on service providers that maintain standard contractual protections or operate under recognized data protection frameworks.
